Denis A. Foretia

Denis A. Foretia, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A., F.A.C.S. is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Section Chief of Surgery for the Western Region at Carilion Clinic – Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. He is also the Vice-Chair for Faculty Development in the department of surgery, and the Associate Dean for Global Health at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

Reese W. Randle

Dr. Randle attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston and completed General Surgery Residency at Wake Forest University in 2015 followed by an Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin. Currently Associate Professor at Wake Forest, he now serves as the Program Director of the General Surgery Residency. He first attended the Academic Surgical Congress as a presenter in 2014 and has since served the AAS on the membership, program and publications committees.

Adesola Akinkuotu

Adesola Akinkuotu is a pediatric surgeon at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She is also a health services researcher whose work centers around health literacy. She currently serves the AAS program as a member of the Program and Academic Advancement Committees.

Anai Kothari
Â
Anai Kothari is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Surgical Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, with additional faculty appointments in the Clinical & Translational Science Institute of Southeast WI and the MCW Data Science Institute. He completed his General Surgery training at Loyola University Medical Center and Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Kothari is an active researcher focused on improving care through personalized treatment, AI, and digitalization, and serves as the Director of the Bud and Sue Selig Hub for Surgical Data Science.Â

Jessica Liu McMullin

Jessica Liu McMullin, MD MS is an Endocrine Surgeon at the University of Utah with a focus on thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal diseases. Additionally, she is a health services and outcomes researcher and her research interests center around decision analysis modeling and quality improvement in endocrine surgery diseases.
