The Association of Women Surgeons Medical Student Committee Research Team invites you to participate in Workshop Two of our Research Methods Series! Join Keynote Speaker and surgical oncologist, Dr. Christina Roland, for an informative workshop centered around clinical trials.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Christina Roland Dr. Christina L. Roland is a surgical oncologist with over 16 years of experience in the field of medicine. She graduated from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine with her medical degree in 2004. Today, she has an interest in oncologic clinical trials research and enjoys speaking about the fundamentals of clinical trials.

The Association for Academic Surgery was founded in 1967 and has grown significantly over the years being widely recognized as an inclusive surgical organization with over 2,500 member surgeons.

Active members have traditionally held faculty appointments at a recognized academic center. Active membership is also available to senior/chief residents and fellows in approved training programs in general surgery and the surgical specialties. The impetus of the membership remains research-based academic surgery.
