Description: Being a member of the LBGTQIA+ community, Chandler finds allyship within the OR extremely important, especially for medical students who are wanting to pursue surgical specialties. During these times of training and growth, it is incredibly important that medical students feel comfortable being able to be themselves within the OR and able to find mentors that support them.
Artist: Chandler Hinson is a third year medical student at the Frederick P Whiddon College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama.
