The AAS has been instrumental in my development as an academic surgeon. My research during residency was supported by the AAS Research Fellowship award and I have had the privilege of presenting my work at the ASC multiple times. I am completing a 2-year term on the Publications Committee and hope to continue supporting the Mission of the AAS through further committee membership and service.
