Christina Colosimo DO, MS, is a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care, Burns, and Acute Care Surgery with the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson.
Dr. Colosimo completed her general surgery residency at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado. Subsequently, she completed her trauma surgical care fellowship at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey.
She received a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon, and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University.
Dr. Colosimo has received various accolades include winning the New Jersey Committee on Trauma paper competition, the ACOS Resident Achievement Award, and the Sky Ridge General Surgery Research Award.
She currently serves on the ACS Ethics committee & ACS legislative committee, and is the EAST ICVP Education committee co-chair.
She has over 20 publications and presented at 4 national conferences last year.
